I am a seasoned nonprofit consultant and philanthropic advisor with over 20 years of senior executive experience.. I have credentials as an AHP Fellow and earned my CFRE early on in my career, and I am pursuing a master's degree in philanthropy at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.As a principal at Maribeth Canning Consulting and Mindful-Philanthropy, I partner with diverse stakeholders to unlock cross-sector partnerships and the power of philanthropy to achieve greater collective impact. I also serve as an adjunct faculty member of Northeastern University's Graduate Nonprofit Management Program. I am on the Boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, (AFP) MA Chapter, New England Association of Healthcare Philanthropy (NEAHP) and the Elsie Viles Foundation. and serve as a mentor to fundraising colleagues at Boston University and AFP. I have built top-performing philanthropy teams and achieved record results at leading healthcare organizations, such as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Lahey Health and MaineGeneral Health.
