Over the last 20+ years, I have had the great pleasure of working in the graphic design/print industry in some way. I have been a freelance graphic designer, an art director, a college instructor, a software guru, and a leader of fellow artists. Whether I’m laying out a magazine, or shaping tomorrow’s creative minds, you can count on me to be focused and dedicated to doing the job right! I put thought and energy into everything I do, which should be evident in my work. I am a life-long learner, always looking at trends and seeking better, more efficient ways to get the job done. As an Art Director, I have produced many magazines, books and calendars for well-known publishers in both Wisconsin and Iowa. As a freelancer, I have created brand identities, built trade show graphics, and generated promotional content for businesses such as AB Media, Deltrol Controls, C2 GPS, Reader’s Digest, and Columbia-St. Mary’s. As an instructor, I have written courses, as well as taught them to creative young minds at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Madison College (SPACE) and Madison Media Institute. I continue to challenge myself by looking for new experiences and places where I can share those experiences. What good is knowledge if you don’t share it? No matter where this path takes me, I know I’ll bring with me a passion for design, and the know-how to get it done.
