Duties:• Mentored and coached three International Space Station and Space Launch System direct reports, guiding their strategic plans and support to ISS and SLS senior leaders in alignment with internal partners and NASA Public Affairs. • Led Program Management and Operations for Starliner mission and crisis communications.Accomplishments:• Led Boeing crisis-communications team for Space Launch System Green Run hot-fire test events, in coordination with NASA and Aerojet Rocketdyne counterparts. Facilitated documentary and media interviews on-site for first of two tests; managed Communications operations for second test.• Met Communications operational needs, including crisis-response tools, planning and execution, up to and throughout Starliner’s Orbital Flight Test from Kennedy Space Center in Florida in December 2019. Served in same role in lead-up to OFT-2 flight test.• Partnered with Communications leads and NASA customer on all aspects of the agency’s Artemis Day event in December 2019, rollout of the first SLS core stage from Michoud Assembly Facility in January 2020 and the SLS Green Run test campaign throughout the remainder of 2020.• Led cross-functional (Communications, Sales and Marketing, and Government Operations) teams in planning Boeing’s presence at high-profile space conferences, including media, social and web outreach and speaker preparation. These included International Astronautical Congress 2019, Space Symposium 2020, AIAA ASCEND 2020 and Space Symposium 2021.• Collaborated across Communications in development and launch of Opal calendar/collaboration tool and earned certificate to train peers; facilitated tool adoption and improvements. • Aligned at division and enterprise levels to manage COVID-related communications for the SLS program and key worksites, including rollout of a new proximity-alert and contact-tracing tool.

Duties:• In addition to normal responsibilities, supported Boeing International Communications as part of a three-month rotation at the Berlin office. Wrote features and posts for translation to the Boeing Deutschland website and Twitter account; counseled the Jeppesen GmbH subsidiary on communications strategy.Accomplishments:• Coordinated public and media events as an on-site Communications representative for International Astronautical Congress 2018 in Bremen.

Duties:• Guided direct reports in support of Boeing’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent campaign, Ground-based Midcourse Defense contract extension, Space Launch System development milestones and International Space Station utilization/extension. Ensured alignment with partners.Accomplishments:• Led regional communicators in all aspects of the multistate Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Site Consolidation effort and its cross-functional plans and products. Content included an internal website, manager resources and a package of written and face-to-face updates covering move notifications for several thousand Southern California employees. Team collateral was adapted for similar uses within Commercial Airplanes and Enterprise Services.

Duties:• Led projects to enhance manager outreach strategies, labor communications coordination and BDS safety compliance.• As one of three writer-editors chosen for the then-coded project, created and continually updated communications plan and tactics to launch BDS Site Consolidation.Accomplishments:• As part of a small cross-functional team, developed communications plan and logistics for a series of Women’s Empowerment Forums held at BDS sites across the United States, with speaking roles for senior leaders. Based on positive follow-up survey and enterprise-level recognition, the plan and materials were repurposed for a longer series with mentorship from the original team.• Co-led Communications plan for launch and implementation of Plant-Centric Operations, an initiative that streamlined the reporting structure of Operations employees across BDS. Products included executive communications, an internal website, employee webcasts, Boeing News Now stories, an external RTQ and manager resources. • Led HR communications to explain and promote acceptance of a safety metric that was included in every BDS employee’s annual goals. Tactics included a manager’s presentation, executive communications, and engagement with employees on internal social media.
