Develop and write planning reports, grant proposals and other reports, as needed. Garner State, federal and corporate grant money, over $1,600,000 to date.Produce and present reports on grant and planning progress for the Library's Board of Trustees.Coordinate the system-wide planning process to include development, education, writing, presentation, promotion and evaluation of the Strategic Plan.

In addition to planning duties, was asked to take over the management of the Training functions. Responsible for the recruitment and management of a team of computer trainers.

Accepted newly created position as an opportunity to aid in shaping the system's shift in reference services to include key electronic resources.

Assist Branch Supervisor in managing the largest branch in the SLCL system. Duties include scheduling, collection development, reference, and patron relations.

Supervise the operation of the Astro-Space library. Duties include acquisitions, database searching, collection development, and cataloging of science and engineering materials.

Assist military and civilian personnel in the use of library resources. Responsible for all public service duties including reference, bibliographic instruction, public relations, interlibrary loan, and online searching.
