I have been working as a civil servant for just under a year as a caseworker, analysing data and information to help bring revenue due back into the UK economy, using guidelines and following procedures to ensure high standards of work. Prior to this I worked as a retail supervisor for 20 years leading a customer service team, rota planning and delivering training. I dealt with customer complaints and resolved issues fairly and reasonably. Worked with other departmental colleagues and managers to make the store run as smoothly and successfully as possible.I also have six years experience in both voluntary and paid roles as a teaching assistant in Manchester schools. leading groups and classes, planning and tailoring lessons and keeping on top of safeguarding. In this role I have used powerpoints and verbal communication to deliver lessons in effective ways to different needs. Liaising with parents and teachers to bring understanding and positive collaboration.
