As a working single mum, and being in property I am endlessly grateful for the opportunities that I have been given. I have been able to work my life around my daughter and be at the school gate each day and be there for her whenever I'm needed. My best achievement has been my Lettings Agency which had a turnover of 250k and I sold for a six figure sum, having built it completely from scratch. Much of my learning has been converted into my book HMO SUCCESS which I wrote in 2020I have had my own Rent to Rent portfolio and learned a lot through doing so (not all good) but I needed to pass my experience onto other investors so they don't make some of the same mistakes. If they are done well then HMOs can be really profitable.My first 'real' job as Homeless Persons Officer for South Staffs Council was a real eye-opener and hopefully set me up for life with an understanding that we shouldn't take anything for granted which is why I love helping people achieve their goals through property.
