My role as a Town Planner is very diverse and no two days are the same. My role involves establishing and maintaining strong client and community relationships. My job role involves the preparation and assessment of development applications and planning studies, utilising my knowledge of statutory and strategic planning processes. I am a MRTPI Chartered Planner and a Certified Prince 2 Project Manager with experience of project managing a mixture of small to large projects including residential, commercial and industrial projects. I have a strong technical report writing skills spanning a diverse range of large and small planning projects and have the ability and experience to communicate and engage with a wide range of government, industry and community stakeholders. I have the ability and analytical skills to resolve planning issues and provide innovative solutions. I have client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment. I have strong written and verbal communication skills and am proficient in using computer aided design and desktop publishing software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
