Delivering a lecture on mosquito-borne diseases to students enrolled in the undergraduate course "Our Planet, Our Health (UNIB10017)".

Tutoring for the course titled Infectious Disease Epidemiology (POPH90112). This course is offered to postgraduate students undertaking the Master of Public Health at The University of Melbourne. The work consists of weekly 2hr tutorials.

Part of the joint field placement for the Masters of Applied Epidemiology at the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory, based at the Peter Doherty Institute and the Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness based at CSIRO. Secondments to the Victorian Department of Health and the North Eastern Public Health Unit (NEPHU) for research projects, including the 2023 Murray valley encephalitis virus serosurvey.

Assigned to the Emergency Preparedness and Response section (Public Health Functions Unit), supporting the activities on COVID-19 response primarily through the curation and analysis of response measures captured in the ECDC-JRC Response Measure Database. Contributed to scientific advice in Rapid Risk Assessments and reports on topics such as COVID-19 contact tracing. Collaborated with stakeholders in member states to improve response measure data collection and assisted the PHIRI network with the development of their Health Information Portal. Presented at two conferences (held online) on EU Health Information and Pandemic Preparedness.

The Global Health course gives an introduction to public health from a global perspective for medical and nursing students. Tasks included:· reviewing and marking of assignments· facilitation of workshops on Global Health topics such as health indicators, determinants of health and ethics both online and in-person.· marking of examinations for master students enrolled in the Infectious Diseases module.

Assisting Prof. Anna-Mia Ekström in facilitating the undergraduate course: HIV - an individual focus from a global perspective, 7,5 credits.Administrative duties, syllabus creation and grading.

Osmond Foundation is a Swedish non-profit organization founded in 2020 to support mental health research projects ran at Karolinska Institutet. Hired as an intern my tasks included: • supporting the 2021 crowdfunding campaign using digital tools • communicating relevant research findings to the public using social media channels • organising fundraising events and lectures

The organization strives to Inform decision-making and advance our understanding of Australian Society and our place in the world through world-class social research and evaluation. My role has been to conduct fieldwork research on behalf of organizations such as the Australian Government Department of Health for their Population Health Surveys.

As the recipient of the European Leader in Global Health Scholarship, I was granted to opportunity to conduct rotations in Durban's HIV clinics and public health institutes. It offered a unique insight into the healthcare system and the challenges presented in trying to address HIV/AIDS and TB in the Kwa-Zulu Natal region.

Assisted the Cancer Council's Prevention Division in a project identifying and documenting ways in which junk food and alcohol companies are using social media platforms to promote their brands and products to young audiences. This culminated in a project report and formal complaints to the ABAC (The Alcohol Beverages Advertising Code Scheme).
