From a deep appreciation of the incredible skill and devotion of the producers, and the beauty of the wines and spirits they produce, I established Bonhams Skinner’s Fine Wines & Rare Spirits Department at the close of 2006, overseeing the department's successful growth and evolution to one of the most prestigious venues for the competitive sale of wines and spirits on the secondary market in the world.I managed all specialty departments and oversaw the planning, development and implementation of business development strategies within the Bonhams Skinner network during the Bonhams integration period of 2022-2024; producing over 100 auctions and events annually with direct management of nearly two dozen staff members.Working across all specialty departments, I ushered in for sale the multi-million dollar Jim Dixon Hesperides Collection of Fine Rugs, Carpets & Textiles, perhaps the finest collection of its kind privately held within the United States, a Tom Brady Rookie Card selling for $372,500 in 2021, the 'The Wall of Wine', a horizontal superlot of classified 2000 Bordeaux hammering in 2014 at $100,000, and Damien Hirst's All you Need it Love, Love, Love, selling for $75,975.It's a deep privilege to serve as benefit auctioneer for various organizations across the country, including UNICEF, the American Heart Association, The Handel & Haydn Society, the DeCordova Museum, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, The Institute of Contemporary Arts Boston, the American Diabetes Association, The Mount, and WGBH, among many others.
