Competing in the world’s first global moot court competition on animal rights law. The WMILAR integrates traditional aspects of international law, including but not limited to international human rights law and international environmental law, with contemporary issues in animal rights. Engaging in extensive legal research, drafting written memorials, and delivering oral arguments before a panel of judges. Developing strong advocacy, teamwork, and critical thinking skills while deepening my understanding of animal rights law and public international law.

Working at the law library of Leipzig University (UBL), organising collections and assisting with enquiries. This role has enhanced my knowledge of legal literature, particularly in areas such as public international law and European Union law.

Serving as a coach for the Jessup Moot Court team of the University of Leipzig, guiding participants through the preparation process for both oral and written advocacy. Conducting workshops focused on developing strong research skills, drafting compelling written memorials, and enhancing oral argument techniques. Providing ongoing support and feedback to team members, helping them refine their advocacy skills and deepen their understanding of complex legal issues in public international law. Additionally, managing organisational tasks such as scheduling practice sessions and coordinating team finances to ensure smooth participation in the competition.

Competed in the world’s largest moot court competition twice, addressing key issues in public international law, such as legal problems surrounding foreign funding of national parties, the admissibility of illegally obtained evidence in 2022, and environmental law and legal questions surrounding autonomous sanctions in 2023. Engaged in extensive legal research, drafted written memorials, and presented oral arguments before a panel of judges in an online (2022) and in-person (2023) format. This experience enhanced my advocacy, critical thinking, and collaboration skills while deepening my expertise in international legal frameworks. It confirmed my commitment to public international law and strengthened my ability to analyse complex legal issues.

Developed and implemented social media strategies to promote journal content and engage with a broader audience, increasing visibility and readership.

Led the journal’s editorial team and made final decisions on submissions. Expanded the journal’s reach by initiating and overseeing its first special issue (2/2023), commemorating the 75th anniversary of the German Federal Administrative Court.
