Experienced Human Resources professional with a passion for helping people and making a positive impact on their daily lives. I truly enjoy assisting people find their path, whether it be in work or life in general. I was honored to receive the HR Professionals Hall of Fame Award by the North Carolina Society for Human Resources Management (NCSHRM) in 2023 an was also awarded the HR Professional of the Year Award by the North Carolina Society for Human Resources Management (NCSHRM) in 2019. My belief is that learning is a lifelong event and I hold my SHRM-SCP and PHR which further confirms my commitment to HR. I have been a member of the LCFHRA for approximately 20 years and have held many board positions, such as, Membership Chair, Workforce Readiness Chair, President and Board Advisor. I'm also an active member of NCSHRM and have held positions as the Workforce Readiness Chair, Logistics Chair for the NCSHRM 2020 and 2022 State Conference and am the current Chair for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 NCSHRM state conference.Specialties include; Recruiting, Employee Relations, Onboarding, Training & Development, Unemployment Issues, Performance Management, Benefits Specialist and Strategic Management.
