Teacher practitioner, choreographer and head of dance department. Design and delivery of Dance curriculum at Key Stage 3,4 and post sixteen. We are the only secondary level school in N. Ireland to offer Dance at A' Level and combine a detailed vocational programme at post sixteen. Our allumni have trained at NorthernSchool of Contemporary Dance, The Place and Laban. Our ambition is to do more for all young aspiring dancers and invite our wider dance community to utilise our facilities for quality dance projects in contemporary and classical disciplines however, at best to work with mixed media performance and allow artistic growth for all. Over the last seventeen years, Our Dance Society has performed at The Opera House and the Waterfront Hall, and has raised the profile of Dance at educational showcase events. Our recent work entitled 'Raising Titanic' is an moving ensemble work which we hope to recreate for a site specific showcase at the Titanic Quarter.
