• Project: Designed and created a prototype to solve a carbon fiber heating issue for a large-scale 3D printer (WHAM – Wide and High Additive Manufacturing).
• Built and tested physical prototype by hand including thermocouples, arduinos and heating patches.
• Tested multiple heating ideas to ensure proper operation, choosing the best option based on efficiency, money, safety and ability to be modular.
• Supervised the job of 4 team members. Managed budget, time schedules and presentations. Achievement: Created a matrix control system for pinpoint heat that would later be integrated into CAD designs. Diminish safety.
