Westway Trust is a registered charity and one of the first social enterprises in the UK. We were formed out of local protest in 1971 when the A40 Westway Flyover was built, leaving 23 acres of derelict land. We manage and regenerate this land for the benefit of the community. We are now an emblem of urban regeneration; transforming the Westway into a vital hub underneath one of the city’s busiest roads and a safe, attractive environment for everyone to enjoy and benefit from. As a self-sustaining not-for-profit organisation, everything we earn from the land is put straight back into it, to serve the local community.We offer education and training programmes, run two popular sports and fitness facilities, and provide space and development opportunities to individuals, businesses, enterprise, artists and charities. We promote arts and education; building on our North Kensington heritage to turn the Westway into a cultural centre. In everything we do our primary focus is to create opportunity and access for those most in need. In 40 years we have become a community stronghold; using our unique resources and connections we work to improve health and employment in the borough, often in collaboration with government and local organisations.By making smart use of our land and resources, we aim to realise the full potential of our North Kensington community, today and tomorrow.

- Project managing a portfolio of community projects including community engagement for a regeneration programme in 3 neighbourhoods in Westminster, Get on the Greenside –a sustainability project working with residents on social housing estates, community facilities management and a community learning programme to ensure they achieve milestones, outputs and outcomes in line with funder requirements and to a high quality standard - Designing community engagement activities to ensure local people have a voice in the regeneration of their neighbourhood- Preparing, managing and reforecasting budgets that fully cost-recover. - Fundraising to deliver sustainability and community development projects that have demonstrated positive impact and to pilot and develop new projects that benefit the community - Monitoring and evaluating the impact of projects on beneficiaries to report back to funders and key stakeholders- Line managing a team of six staff

- Project managing a portfolio of sustainability and community development projects to ensure they achieve milestones, outputs and outcomes in line with funder requirements and to a high quality standard - Co-ordinating projects so that they are efficiently run, high-quality, safe, enjoyable and beneficial to the community- Developing, implementing and refining project plans to ensure resources are managed effectively to achieve the desired project outcomes within the initial project scope and within agreed timeframes.- Developing new partnerships with businesses, schools and community organisations - Identifying relevant funding streams to support the future development and sustainability of a portfolio of projects.- Line Managing a staff team of four
