Assist patients and doctors with getting oral and intravenous chemotherapy drugs approved by insurance company. I have an extensive knowledge of insurance company processes and oncology clinical policies within the insurance companies. Because chemotherapy drugs are sometimes very cost prohibitive I work closely with foundations and pharmaceutical companies to get assistance for our patients when needed. I was recently nominated for the Ancillary Staff Friends of Nursing Employee of the year.
