My educational and professional qualifications include a Master of Arts in Translation, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Translation and Literature, a Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the superior (C2) level awarded by the Ministry of Education in Spain, and an English-to-Spanish translator certification issued by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. My translation experience has included but is not limited to: Translation of medical documents such as medical history questionnaires and surveys; personal and professional correspondence; advertisements to be used in print or online; website translation; governmental petition letters; poetry, prose and other fiction and non-fiction works; transcribed conversations in both languages; proofreading, editing and general quality control. My oral interpretation experience consists of usage in medical settings, general business environments, and in tourism-related activities, in person as well as over the telephone. As far as my general work habits are concerned, I am a quick learner, organized, attentive to details, and punctual.
