Supervision of the day to day operations of the Client Billing (A/R) team, Performance management of ~6 staff members, Management of the month-end interface between the loan sub-ledger and the billing system and all maintenance within the billing system, Ensures execution of key departmental controls and departmental and company policies, Maintenance of desktop procedures, Manages the accurate preparation and timely issuance of monthly client invoice packages, and Supports the month-end close by completing analytical reviews and analysis of balance sheet and revenue variances to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.

Completed various general accounting functions related to client billing and accounts receivable, including:General ledger reconciliations (balance sheet), journal entries and accruals, financial controls, ACH/wires for any residual funds owed to clients, preparation of Accounts Receivable Aging, monitorization of receipt of receivables, preparation and review of monthly client invoices for completeness and accuracy, Maintenance of the billing system in accordance with new client setups, and client pricing table changes (new SOW’s, Contract Amendments, or Annual CPI pricing inflators).In addition, created inter-departmental partnerships by collaborating with various servicing units across the organization on billable related work, tracked and accounted for miscellaneous client billable items to ensure timely and accurate client bill backs. Identified areas of opportunity for billing automation and collaborated with Technology on automating and modifying billing logic in the interface between loan sub-ledger and the billing system. Provided ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required to meet accounting departmental and business needs. Performed complex accounting research and data analysis, documenting conclusions, and providing timely response and resolution. Identified opportunities to increase revenue, lower expenses, and recover receivables.

Acted as primary interface subject matter expert for clients and/or vendors, providing support in development and mapping of data interface files. Performed User Acceptance and Quality Assurance Testing, in order to obtain sign-off to move interface into production. Efficiently maintained all post implementation interface support. Performed problem isolation/analysis and troubleshooting practices, to identify root cause for interface related errors, while ensuring timely and accurate solutions to client or internal issues.

Assisted in the development and execution of the organization’s procedure for Treasury IRII Reporting under the HAMP program, ensuring compliance under the program requirements. Developed and implemented the procedures for the reconciliation and application of Treasury IRII HAMP Servicer/Borrower Incentives funds. Processed all monthly delinquency reporting of loan portfolios to various Government agencies (GSEs, FHA’s SFDMS, VA, USDA, and MI reporting) for the company, with proficiency and accuracy.
