I represent businesses facing claims of complex product liability matters involving catastrophic injury and property damages, toxic substances litigation including asbestos matters, commercial contract and construction matters, medical device allegations, franchise and commercial disputes, consequential warranty claims, as well as matters of general liability against domestic and international manufacturers, distributors, and insurers. I have tried cases and handed appeals of matters in the state and federal courts of both Massachusetts and Connecticut where I am admitted to practice.I work with general counsel, national counsel, and insurers to develop a strategy for discovery and overall litigation. I also have conducted and managed e-discovery efforts for a worldwide leader of mobile devices, and its correlating government anti-trust investigation. In all matters, I develop a close working defense team to provide strategic advice on litigation strategy, cost management, and to aggressively defend the client's interests.In addition to an active practice, I am a leader in national and local bar associations and a frequent author and speaker on issues related to product liability and civil trial practice.
