As the Senior Design Manager/Creative Lead within the internal creative agency I was responsible for ensuring creative excellence, brand integrity and consistency from the team and being the key support to the Creative Director. The team and I were responsible for producing brand and marketing communications across digital and print for over 21,000 retail touch points, and over 6 million customers. Beyond my team I was a key liase with 3rd party agencies, providing both art direction and as a sign off point.

I supported the Yahoo!7 creative studio with all of their digital advertising needs. This included client pitches relating to the sale of digital advertising on the Yahoo!7 website. The creative outputs included home page takeovers, flash banners, micro sites, competition pages, social media re skins and any other requirements. Creative was developed for brands such as Coca Cola, Pizza Hut, Mercedes Fashion Week, Olay, Five Brothers, BMW, Commonwealth Bank, Smirnoff Vodka, Telstra and Subaru.

Working in a corporate environment at Deloitte enabled me to develop professionally and gain extensive experience in managing a national corporate design team while working closely with senior clients to meet their needs. This position taught me how to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure whilst ensuring I remained focused on a high quality, high creative output. I gained a meticulous eye for detail and learnt to stay composed in all situations. My role gave me exposure to key programs of work focused on M&A, Audit, Sustainability and creative consulting. I built skills across multiple platforms include print design, long format documents, digital design across website, social, video and sound.Corporate branding, website design, application design, event collateral, brochures/proposals, magazine adverts/advertorial/covers, banners, signage and other large format design, photography, video and podcast production.

This position enabled me to gain experience in the fashion and textile industry. Working on Australian labels such as Lisa Ho, Supre, Alice McCall and more. My role at Smouha Fabrics required me to act as an assistant to the designers in the art room. This position exposed me to a variety of tasks mostly involving sketching up fabric print ideas, preparing design ideas for presentation to clients and the creation of repeats of the designs.

This position involved meeting clients’ design needs including logo design, business card design, brochure design, newsletters, photo manipulation, catalogue design, layouts and letterhead design. This job also included working with printers and file preparation.
