I am Director of Global Development and Sustainability at the Confederation of Danish Industry. Since 2005 I have worked with DI to strengthen Danish companies' work with sustainability as well as the Danish private sector's role in Danish development policy. Prior to my position at DI, I worked in the corporate sector with international trade and business development with a geographical focus on emerging markets and developing countries. I currently hold the position as Vice-Chair of BIAC – Business at the OECD’s Development Committee and as Private Sector Liaison Officer to the World Bank Group. Furthermore, I represent the voice of the Danish private sector as a member of the boards of the 2030-panel, the Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Goals, Global Compact Denmark and the Danish council for Development Policy.Throughout my work life, I have worked at the intersection between sustainability, global development and business. That has provided me with a solid knowledge on global development and development policy, sustainable- and responsible business conduct, CSR, ESG, the Sustainable Development Goals as well as the private sector's role and responsibility in a global world.
