Studied synaptic plasticity as it relates to Fragile X Syndrome. Performed survival surgeries including viral injection and cranial window implantation, two-photon in vivo imaging and analysis, immunohistochemistry, and fluorescent imaging.

Quadrupled membership, spearheaded a fundraising campaign that raised over $5,000 for the organization, and established the UCSC chapter as an affiliate of the national Women in Science.
