I am an anthropologist with interest in digital anthropology, digital ethnography and social media. My current research focus is on influencer cultures, gender, political communication and authority and authenticity on social media and disinformation and conspiracies in online communities. I teach intro to digital ethnography methods and besides academic writing, I occassionaly write for various Czech (and sometimes international) media. I have extensive experience with applied research and before starting my academic career, I worked in the NGO sector as research & campaign coordinator for 8 years.
