Few years ago, while exploring the Canadian West Coast as a sales representative with Discover Canada Tours, I decided that I would build my career in the services industry. There was just something magical about contributing to the happiness of travelers.However, after this fantastic job experience, I returned to my hometown in Mexico and encountered an amazing opportunity in the consumer goods sector. I was proud to be selected for the trainee “high potential” program at Henkel developing projects in diverse areas including Sales, Trade Marketing, Market Research, and E-Commerce. After completing my rotations, I became a Marketing Brand Manager. And yes, there was also something really magical about transforming a laundry detergent into the most exciting product. While it was not an easy decision, my endless enthusiasm for continuous learning drew me towards moving out of my comfort zone in Mexico and start a new adventure in Canada. I recently concluded a Master in Tourism Management, increasing my leadership skills and cross-cultural learning, and paving the way to exceed in my next challenge.
