As a research associate in the drug discovery department at Scripps I worked as part of multidisciplinary teams to drive multiple research projects aimed at validating novel targets for therapeutic intervention in cancer. As a PhD student, I worked on 2 different projects. The first one aimed at deciphering FGFR3 roles in pancreatic adenocarcinoma tumorigenesis. The second one was a translational project where I validated an innovative therapeutic approach to target cancer cell in vivo by using engineered lentiviruses coupled with tumor-specific cell surface antigens in pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
