Vice Provost For Teaching And Learning

I provided human resources support, acted as the first point of contact for most human resources inquiries, served as a resource to staff and faculty on human resources policies, procedures, and practices at the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning (VPTL). I facilitated administrative processes, in order to help VPTL promote and advance the vibrant, intellectual endeavor of teaching and learning at Stanford—and beyond.CORE DUTIES:• Coordinated the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, onsite visits, background checks, offer letters, and applicant disposition with hiring managers and human resources staff for both regular + contingent staff• Implemented internal new hire onboarding + follow-up meetings by contacting new hires within first week of hire and 2-4 months after hire date to collect constructive feedback about onboarding process• Supported financial processes (transactions and documentation) for academic and staff appointments/reappointments and 250+ student/post-doctoral appointments by tracking payments and timecards twice a month• Coordinated HRIS data management activities, including initiating transactions and running reports for compliance, audit, and metrics purposes. Ensure data integrity, and serve as primary contact for identifying and resolving pay issues.
