In this role there has been a strong emphasis on working as a team member to reach daily store targets (KPI’s). This has been reached by providing boutique customer service, including personal styling sessions & building a relationship with the customer.

Specialist retail assistant with extensive knowledge in haberdashery, textiles & Husqvarna, Brother & Janome sewing machines. In this position I was responsible for organising and running one on one tutorials, as well as adult group classes. I planned the classes with the aim to help many students unlock the full potential of Brother’s ‘Scan n’ Cut’ machine. The interactive group classes included demonstrations, specific guidance and trouble shooting. I received a significant positive response from many students. I represented HobbySew at the Sydney Sewing Fair in 2015. In this unique oppurtunity I was responsible for demonstrating and selling Husqvarna’s latest sewing and embroidery machines. As well as gaining extensive knowledge from the company through textensive training sessions.
