I am a Cambridge-educated Healthcare Advisory solicitor, with a First Class Honours Chemistry Degree and wealth of legal experience. As a Partner at Beachcroft Wansbroughs, I specialised in healthcare litigation, including complex clinical negligence and personal injury on behalf of the NHS, including several reported cases. I then moved into public law, where I handled public law advisory, contract and charity matters. I shared knowledge and increased junior staff members’ proficiency through mentoring, and had oversight of trainees, as well as supporting recruitment selection, as one of two London Training Partners. In addition to fee-earning work, I strengthened the firm’s offering through pro bono advisory services that supported NHS Trust employees and built solid foundations for future relationships. As a result of my recent science studies, I gained valuable research assistant experience and effectively prioritised a deadline-critical workload, as well as continuing to manage several voluntary and committee interests. I still have a profound interest in public law and healthcare law and enjoy working with clients from all walks of life. My broad professional experience enables me to align competing priorities in working through complex, highly charged, and often sensitive issues that raise intricate points of law, questions of professional integrity and reputational impact.
