The annual Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer’s™ hockey tournament, in support of the Gordie & Colleen Howe Fund for Alzheimer’s at Baycrest, is the ultimate hockey experience for individuals aged 25 years and up. This one-of-a-kind event allows everyday hockey enthusiasts to team up with former NHL greats in the battle against Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The event is comprised of 3 parts: the Gordie Howe & Friends Luncheon, the Draft Night Party, and the hockey tournament.Responsibilities include:• Event Logistics:o Assist in the coordination of all event operations• Budget: o Support in monitoring budget status throughout the yearo Assist in finding creative ways to save costs and find efficiencieso Work with finance department to reconcile final accounting of each event • Sponsorshipo Communicate via phone and email with all sponsors to ensure obligations are met. o Provided them with detailed info on event and set out expectationsAccomplishments:• Created a budget spreadsheet to help ensure accuracy that is now being used for all Foundation events.• Actively reduced the budget for most recent event• Identified issues with registration and streamlined the process to make it efficient• Created a meeting minute template that is now used for all internal & external meetings

Prepared proposals, presentations, sales packages, prepared over oversaw all show mailings, and co-ordinated internal and external meeting and expenses. (Maternity Leave coverage) Took over some of the duties of the Operations Director during her maternity leave.
