My 6+ years at Pleo allowed me to have a big impact on the culture, values and the business. I'm proud to see how Pleo helps companies across all industries welcome transparency and accountability and drive a culture based on trust and transparency instead of micromanagement and pointless control. I spent the first 3 years building up our customer success team from zero to 22 with a focus to help our customers drive a culture based on trust and transparency. With an amazing team, we were responsible for our customers with everything from onboarding, nurturing, growth and support. Seeing such a strong and genuine CS team, unusual high NPS and close-to-zero churn, makes me really proud of this chapter at Pleo! I then moved to Berlin to shift focus to the German market and head up our expansion, build the foundational team to win one of our most promising markets and adapt the product to reach market fit. Germany is now one of Pleo’s most successful markets. Along the way, my curiousity for leadership grew bigger and I started implementing authentic leadership accross the whole company.Earlier on: A passion for playful learning experiences and an eagerness to create an impact was the drive to develop the innovation tool The Quest for Innovation and co-found the company CreateUp. My work in True North, Mind Your Own Business and Startup Weekend Education was founded in this deep curiosity for learning, empowerment and growth and involved leadership, project management and development. Studying sociology, innovation and entrepreneurship has enabled me to develop strong analytical skills, a genuine understanding of humanity, research capabilities, profound knowledge and experience with innovation processes, framing strategies and entre- and intrapreneurship. Being a professional horse rider has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with horses, which has taught me the importance of being present, listening and using my intuition. Competing on a high level (Danish & Nordic Champion and participated at the Europeans Championship four times) requires resilience, discipline and dedication - all of which have turned out to be valuable skills in all aspects of my life.

Co-FounderCreateup Mar 2014 - Jun 2015CopenhagenStarting from a collaboration with Copenhagen School of Design and Technology (KEA), a peer and I developed the board game The Quest for Innovation, a gamified tool that takes students through a creative process, where they get insights into innovation and are encouraged to look up, reflect on their surroundings and act on the opportunities. It enables them to go from exploration to exploitation, be pro-active and create innovative solutions for the future. The past year we have facilitated workshops for students and teachers all over Denmark.
