I am pleased to operate a small business in Ithaca, NY, THE VINTAGE INDUSTRY - offering antiques and vintage items for sale, appraisal services, and estate property sales. Previously, we found our home in the retail space which is a part of the historic State Theatre of Ithaca. I specialize in a wide variety of antiques, vintage items, and collectibles. Areas of interest include 20th Century design, mid century and modern furniture, the primitive/industrial, folk art, porcelain & glassware, vintage taxidermy, vintage photo and audio equipment, antique and vintage lighting fixtures, costume jewelry, vintage clothing, and odd and interesting items.I am deeply interested in the design and historical context of antiques and vintage items, and am passionate about sharing my knowledge with my clients and the general public. In the past, the efforts of my career were devoted to non-profit arts organizations.
