During my work for PNN and represent PhD candidate's interest regarding the topics mental health and social safety. I was involved in the formation of a national steering group aiming to improve social safety in higher education and I regularly give talks about the systemic factors impacting the mental health of academics.

Project: “Improving decision-making in the criminal justice system”An exciting research collaboration with an international team next to my studies. Next to the regular research tasks such as study set-up, data collection/analysis and writing, I was responsible for keeping the project on track and organising regular meetings. We succesfully completed the project, published two papers and received an APS reward.

I provided statistical consulting to students and staff members from the social sciences faculty of the University of Groningen. This included in-person consultations and maintaining an online forum. During the second year of my employmeent I also coordinated the shop and its four employees.
