Executive Director in the Association Management Services Department. Develop and execute the strategic direction of three associations: Virginia Physical Therapy Association, Idaho Physical Therapy Association, and the Academy of Aquatic Physical Therapy. With a strong background in nonprofit governance, I've led my boards through a name change, modifying articles of incorporation, bylaw overhauls (chapter and district), policy and procedure development, elections, and strategic planning. I've successfully led Boards through difficult discussions of cutting antiquated programming or events in order to increase non-dues revenue and efficiencies. I've orchestrated 20 conferences/events which include exhibitor sales, educational programming, annual member's meetings, and receptions. Under my leadership, the Idaho Physical Therapy Association secured enough grant money to seek dry needling legislation. In the spring of 2018, legislation was passed to allow physical therapists in Idaho practice dry needling!
