The GPT Wholesale Office and GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund are two of the largest unlisted wholesale property funds in Australia with assets under management of approximately $4.8b and $3.5b respectively, growing $4b.Led the team responsible for all financial aspects of the GPT funds management business including responsibilities of the Financial Controller role as well as:* Prepared and presented budgets and forecasts of the funds to the Audit Committee/Board* Maintained the fund models for each existing fund and modelling impacts of acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings;* Provided commercial and analytical support for growth strategies including the launch of new funds and M&A transactions;* Responded to investor queries and contributed to investor presentations and reports; * Business planning and determining strategy* Prepared all information relating to the funds and funds management business for quarterly financial results presentations to the market.Achievements included:* Created, developed and mentored a new team of 5 which delivered exceptional customer service to the investors, Board/Audit Committee and the GPT business;* Managed the implementation of new forecasting models which allowed for a single source of financial information and more efficient and effective forecasting, reporting and scenario analysis;* Designed a new budget/forecast reporting process for presentation to the Board allowing for greater visibility of performance and accountability of management;* Provided advice on a range of accounting and commercial matters, including being part of the Due Diligence Committee and forward thinking on potential issues for new funds and the existing funds to ensure the best financial outcome * Introduced a range of procedures and templates in relation to research and information useful in the creation of new funds and for the existing funds;* Continuously improved the reporting to the board in all areas.

Led the team responsible for the financial reporting, tax and investor reporting functions of the GPT Wholesale Funds. Responsible for all aspects of financial control, including: preparation and presentation of board papers, financial statements and tax returns; quarterly unit pricing and distribution calculations, coordinating and reviewing month end process and transactions; managing the audit relationship; preparing accounting advice for transactions; continuous improvement of process and procedures; problem solving accounting and system issues; coaching and mentoring staff.
