As a recognized senior leader in tech with a strong track record, she has more than 30 years of experience capitalizing on emerging technologies to create new markets. She’s passionate about the power of diversity to accelerate innovation and is an advocate for women in tech.Prior to joining Ethos, Wieck spent 30+ years with IBM leading global teams of up to 10,000 across hardware, software, cloud and services businesses with up to $9 billion in revenue. She helped pioneered new growth platforms including Java, WebSphere, and MobileFirst. In her most recent role, Wieck led IBM’s entry into blockchain and the development of the market leading enterprise IBM Blockchain Platform, tools, and new supply solutions like TradeLens and Food Trust.Wieck was named to the Women in Technology International (WITI) Hall of Fame for her passionate support of women in technology and recognized as a Woman of Vision STEM Champion by NAFE for her diversity mentoring. She received the SWE Work/Life Balance Award for pioneering work/life flexibility programs while at IBM and The Cooper Union President’s Citation for leadership in innovation. She was also named a leading woman in tech and blockchain by Barron’s, Crane’s NewYork and Crypto Current.Wieck holds an M.B.A. from New York University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Engineering from The Cooper Union. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and co-chair of National Association of Female Executives (NAFE) Roundtable. She is on the boards of Daimler AG, Mercedes Benz, Intapp and Uptake. She is the Chair of Charity Navigator, and on the Columbia University Engineering School Board of Visitors.
