Currently enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch Business School for the Post graduate qualification in Mindfulness Based Stress intervention I have BA Hons, Teaching Diploma, MPhil, Counselling Diploma and 9 International diplomas in Health & Beauty.My work background has been blessed with a variety of experiences, from Teaching to owning successful businesses, to a managerial position in City Council and at the University of Stellenbosch to finally being the CEO of Stellenbosch Hospice. Along with previously working with learners and students, the latter was especially what drove my need to find alternative methods of coping with stress, as staff were employed to care for end-of-life patients and needed to facilitate extreme forms of traumatic stress for both themselves and the deceased’s loved ones.This led me to creating ► ‘Mindful Vision’ ▪️ I provide tools and guidance to people to learn to hold space for themselves & others without judgement, with honesty and in the moment. ▪️ I also facilitate processes to increase focus, productivity and gratitude.My clients include companies, individuals & anyone wanting to live a more focused and fulfilled life. My staff provides palliative care of excellence to patients who experience the end phase of life threatening disease in order to enhance their quality of life. They have the Mother Theresa attitude to care for, love and help ease pain of dying patients and support their families emotionally and physically.My role is to support them by: - Raising the means of income to ensure enough staff members for the growing need. I do that by sourcing government and local municipality tenders, appreciating, acknowledging and marketing/advertising our donors and volunteers (who donate food, money, their services and using their talents to help promote our business side, donating products like computers, supporting our staff members by giving them counseling and training, work in the Hospice shop, help with holiday program, help promoting the Hospice day challenge) and make sure the business develop- My wish is to share the wonderful stories of my staff who are ordinary people with their own problems at home or in person, but who raised above that to share what they have and can with other people. I work with angels and am very privilege to be the one supporting them in their work.- Growing the Hospice shop into an even more profitable business.- Developing a new website, and other electronic marketing media with help from volunteers.- Getting to know everybody who are involved and all who want to get involved in person, and build a relationship with them in order to market their companies/businesses, enjoy their spirit of giving, learn from their experience and to tell them the stories of how their help/donations brings joy and relief to our patients and their relatives.
