Marian Gallego is a researcher and project manager working at the Automation and Process Control Division in CARTIF Technology Center. Her knowledge background is strongly related to predictive maintenance techniques, monitoring and diagnosis of rotating machinery, and tool wear monitoring for metal turning processes. She has been appointed expert evaluator by the EC for Factories of the Future (FoF). Since the start of the Sixth Framework Program she's been involved in several European Funded Projects (NMP, ICT and Transport) where she has developed tasks related to:- Collaborative forecasting and supply management: Automotive Chassis Development for 5-Days Car -AC-DC, FP6- Management of dissemination activities for a large Integrated Project: Virtual Automation Networks - VAN, FP6. - Analysis of charging patterns and infrastructure planning for electric vehicles: Green eMotion, FP7- She is currently participating in REMOURBAN lighthouse project (http://www.remourban.eu/), in charge of mobility issues for Valladolid city.She is regularly attending events, both at national and European level, in connection with several Technology Platforms from the fields of transport, ICT and manufacturing. Marian Gallego holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge (2.004) and a B1 certificate in French (2.009). She got a MEng in Industrial Engineering from Valladolid University (2.002) where she had graduated in 1.999.
