Marija brings 15+ years of engagement connecting feminism, human and environmental rights, peacebuilding, social and solidarity economy, and progressive philanthropy.She is internationally engaged but based in Serbia. She holds a master's degree in Sociology. Marija brings transferable skills from being an outreach field activist, journalist, researcher, facilitator, documenter, educator, female spokesperson, resource mobilizer, grantmaker, social marketing assistant, programs & MEL coordinator and co-leader. Her work spans from political analysis, research & education, initiatives/organizational development, transitions & strengthening, to resourcing social change and collective care.She worked with a range of actors, from socially marginalized groups, to activist collectives, social entrepreneurs, INGOs, donors, banks and companies interested in CSR. Since 2017 she's been part of the women's funds ecosystem. Marija was a Social Change Initiative Fellow in 2021 exploring the resourcing of progressive social change and justice. She is a Sakharov Fellow for 2024.
