I was born and raised in Belgrade, where I graduated at University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. At the moment I am studying at the University of Bristol, where I am pursuing my PhD degree in Quantum Engineering.The topic of my PhD is developing electro-optic Kerr modulators in Silicon at 2um for large-scale Silicon quantum photonics. That includes work with simulation software such Lumerical suite and Mathematica, DC and RF testing and cryogenic considerations. Apart from the academic work, I am trying to bring that lab work closer to people outside of the academia - through outreach, work with professional organisations such as @Optica and participating in varous meet-up groups, one of them being Quantum Serbia. At my University, I am trying to increase the presence of the companies and facilitate academic-industrial interaction.
