Duties incuded daily accountability of 300 Soldiers using Microsoft Excel. I was also responsible for delievering HR services to military personnel including the processing of awards, finance actions, leave packets, and promotions using military HR systems such as eMILPO, iPERMS, and the new army system IPPS-A. I also in-processed and out-processed over 1000 Soldiers while I was with Fort Carson. During my time with the Army, I have deployed twice to Kuwait and Poland. While deployed and stateside in my unit, I often performed above my grade as a Specialist. I was in charge of creating Standard Operating Procedures used to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall operations of the HR shop.
