Having worked and resided all over the world, the last twelve years in Asia, I am a Dutch designer with an extremely wide cultural outlook.I pride myself in not stopping at the exciting concepts, but having the skillset and knowledge to push an idea through prototyping into production and still look amazing when it comes to market. Industrial design isn’t industrial design unless it’s mass produced. Sexy renders alone don’t count. That is how I create resonating and award-winning products.I have spearheaded, developed and managed design teams and clients in a wide range of industries. I thrive mentoring teams and pushing them to the best possible creative output for each specific project.While working for Jacob Jensen Design, one of the world’s oldest and most award winning design studios, I honed my aesthetic for clean, minimalistic, modern design. While working at my own agency, Lines Designworks, I refined it and developed my personal mission: To bring serenity to the chaos that surrounds us.As international keynote speaker and university lecturer I’ve been giving inspirational lectures for companies and educational institutions in Europe, North-America and Asia covering topics in design, academic processes and the business side of design.
