Xccelerated is part of the Xebia group, accelerating careers of young professionals with one to three years of experience in the fields of machine learning, data engineering, cloud and DevOps engineering. The 13-month advanced training program integrates learning with working at one of the partner companies.

The program kicked off with a bootcamp training, where we focused on topics like writing deployable code, DevOps Principles, Cloud Engineering on AWS and Containers.
After the bootcamp I will receive 1 day of training a week on various topics while working at Royal FloraHolland.

During the conference, distinguished speakers will speak about the most interesting and newest topics in the area of Computer Science, Information Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Bit is a research and prototyping studio based at Amsterdam Science Park. Projects are run in small scrum teams. I contributed to the projects below.• For an industrial infrastructure company, we developed a sensor and dashboard to make the location of carriages inside a terminal visible.• For a media company, we researched trend data for program inspiration.• For an airline, I coached four ROC students in their internship. They developed an Android app that digitalized forms.• For an insurance company, we researched solutions to optimize their administrative process.• For a manufacturing company, we researched sustainable technologies for offices.• For a pension fund, we developed an interactive website that guides users through their financial life to make them more aware of choices regarding their retirement.
