Within the University Medical Centre Utrecht i am responsible for coordinating the 6 yearly updates of SAP. During these updates i am the main point of contact for the different businessproces supported by SAP ECC, SRM, PI and the SAP consultants. Together with these parties I facilitate the implementation of new SAP functionalities with the least disruption for the user.

In this internship at the “Department of Violence and Injury Prevention” I have:- Organised the ‘Nordic-Baltic workshop on the prevention of child maltreatment: Strengthening intersectorial working’ in Letland- Contributed to the development of an article titled; ‘Countdown to 2020: progress in implementing the European child maltreatment prevention action plan’.- Contributed to the further development of questionnaires for the ‘Global status report on the road safety’ and the ‘European report on the prevention of Child Maltreatment’.

At the Ministry I was part of the Global Health Security Agenda conference team. My team was responsible for the organisation of the 3rd ministerial conference of the Global Health Security Agenda in oktober 2016 (https://ghsagenda.org/).During the remaining time of my internship I wrote two positioning documents concerning the current policies of the Ministry in relation to Tuberculosis and HIV/Aids control.

To be a promoteam member means two things for me: presenting and advising. I represent Maastricht University during fairs, open days and high-school visits. It has taught me to present passionately and interactively with the audience. The other task includes advising high school students and their parents to make one of the most important decisions: choosing a fit educational program. This does not require to sell Maastricht university, but an open interested attitude and listening to the interests and concerns of students to provide the correct information and to think along with their considerations.
