When I started as a private family day care provider year 2015, I soon noticed that it seemed very difficult for parents in the Espoo city to find family day care businesses. There was no single place to find information. It was scattered if it existed at all. Also my fellow business owners were struggling to find the customers. I decided to change this and create a platform that would serve both families looking for private day care for their children and also for the day care providers to advertise their services. I designed and created http://eypph.fi webpage for all family day care business owners to market their services for free. I negotiated with Espoo city to have that page on the Espoo city early education web pages and to be promoted in their social media. I also created a Facebook community for the private family daycare entrepreneurs in order to have a working network among all of them. At first I used solely my own money and time to create this webpage and community. However soon I started to offer sponsorship for companies like Heureka, Haltia and Aurora. Currently I agree all the sponsorship contracts, take care of the advertisements from the companies, update the webpage with the day care companies contact information, and update both the public and private Facebook pages of the Daycare Providers. In addition to serve Espoo city, families and business owners, I succeeded to raise awareness of Private Family Day Care as an Early Education option. Webpage is viewed over 14000 times a year and it is nowadays an important source to find the info of the family day care places. It also works as a advertisement page for selected sponsors. I am proud and happy for the fact that I created a network of business owners who support me and each other. Together we have nowadays more influence and results regarding the Early Education politics in Espoo.

Saimme vuoden 2022 aikana yhdessä työntekijöiden, vapaaehtoisten, ohjaajien ja kävijöiden kanssa kävijämäärät nousemaan ja paljon erilaista aktiviteettia Mellunmäen alueen asukkaille. Naapuruustalo Mellari oli vuoden 2022 lopussa aktiivinen, energinen ja positiivinen alueen asukkaiden yhdistäjä, tapahtumapaikka ja eri aktiviteettien tarjoaja. Oli hienoa olla Mellarissa töissä upeiden ihmisten kanssa ja vaikuttaa naapuruustalon kasvuun.

I took care of planning, reporting, marketing and public relations of the Toimiva perhe -project in Mope ry. Goal of the project was to enhance and support Arabic and Somali families in their parenthood in the capital area. Project had funding from STEA. I led the project and the operational work of two employees in the project. I was able to use my background of marketing, public relationship skils, communication & conflict resolution skills plus leadership skills in this project. I created a detailed induction plan for the employees about working in a association, about employee rights, reporting and the way of working. I renewed the peer support material that the association was using and made new material about emotional skills and conflict resolution skills in the multicultural families. I led the translation process of the material to arabic and somali languages and trained employees. I am really happy I was able to support small and new association in leadership topics and work related processes as well as co-operation with other stakeholders. It was also very meaningful for me to work in very multicultural work environment and support somali and arabic families.

I'm happy I was able to use my experience from my own business, marketing, language studies and my work with children with special needs in this position in an IT company with a great purpose. I helped Yetitablet to gain visibility through paper and online news media, to build social media strategy and also visibility and connection via customers and followers. My main contributions were newspaper stories, and changing the way what instagram can give to customers, good co-operation with Swedish reseller and their customer in order to support both of the companies marketing. And as usual I loved creating guides, instructions and tips for my coworkers and the next person who would follow my work. ---Yetitablet is an assistive technology that improves the wellbeing of elderly and people with disabilities by giving them access to apps.
