De onderneming Mediserve is gevestigd op Klarenanstelerweg 5 te Kerkrade en is actief in de branche Groothandel in farmaceutische producten, medische instrumenten en orthopedische artikelen.

Highlite international is gevestigd in Kerkrade (Zuid-Limburg). Het bedrijf is in de jaren negentig door Fam. de la Haije opgericht. Wat in 1992 begon met een eerste containerlading aan showequipment is nu een bedrijf geworden dat aan meer dan 70 landen levert en 150 medewerkers in dienst heeft. Highlite mag zich dan ook met trots tot een van de grootste leveranciers van showequipement in Europa rekenen en wereldwijd distributeur van professionele licht en geluid producten.

GaiaZOO is een dierentuin gelegen in Kerkrade, in het zuidoosten van de Nederlandse provincie Limburg. GaiaZOO werd in 2005 geopend en is vernoemd naar Gaia, godin van de aarde. Tot 2010 heette de dierentuin GaiaPark.

Camille Oostwegel is een Limburgse hotelier in hart en nieren. Als kleine jongen had hij al een passie voor cultuurhistorie en gastronomie. In 1969 begon hij met zijn studie aan de Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht die hij in 1972 met goed gevolg afrondde. Van 1972 tot 1980 werkte Camille Oostwegel bij diverse Novotel vestigingen. Tijdens deze periode werd hij al snel exploitatiedirecteur en adviseur van de eerste Novotel vestigingen buiten Frankrijk (bijv. Antwerpen, Luxemburg, Saarbrücken, Schiedam, Breda).Monumentenpanden met Savoir vivreIn 1980 kwam hij terug naar Limburg en zette hij zijn eerste stappen als zelfstandig ondernemer. Hij begon met 4 werknemers in zijn eerste restaurant. Diverse monumenten in Maastricht en omgeving volgden. Zij werden zorgvuldig gerestaureerd en kregen een restaurant en/of hotelfunctie. Vanuit zijn passie voor de Franse cultuur, werd het culinair vakmanschap van de Franse keuken toegepast. Vandaag de dag bestaat de onderneming uit 3 hotels en 7 restaurants (Château Neercanne, WinselerHof, Château St. Gerlach en Kruisherenhotel Maastricht) waar in totaal circa 350 medewerkers werken.
