I currently head up all Corporate Services at Curro Holdings, the South African JSE-listed independent education provider that offers quality education to learners from the early childhood development phase to Grade 12. This portfolio includes Marketing and Communications, as well as Corporate Services for the Group. The Curro group strives to widen access to quality schooling across a spectrum of education models, and I feel privileged to be part of an organisation whose vision is to develop well-rounded youth with a bright future. Seeing how our daily efforts contribute towards the sustainable growth of South Africa and beyond is very rewarding.As Curro’s Marketing and Communications Executive, my responsibilities include increasing learner numbers across the group, learner retention, overall brand management within the group, as well as risk and reputation management. My vision is to ensure that every child within our group has the chance to become the best version of themselves.I hold an MBA (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University’s Business School, an Honours in Journalism (cum laude) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stellenbosch University. I am the founder of the strategic business and communications consultancy, In Context, and a former Publisher of the Women’s Magazine Division at Media24 whereby I grew my area to one of the biggest magazine divisions in the group.My passion for the performing arts has resulted in the creation of Curro Create - Curro's national creative arts initiative, in collaboration with Wordsmith’s Theatre Factory. I am also the Executive Producer of all shows under the Curro Create banner.I am a member of the Institute of Directors in South Africa.
