I teach foundational mathematics (College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics) with a combination of traditional lecture & student centered methods. My focus is on meeting students where they are and acknowledging past experiences with math, both negative and positive, to lay the groundwork for learning. I see my role as facilitator, director, and, often, cheerleader as students navigate their gen ed math requirement.
