. I have a bachelor’s degree in environmental geography and a minor in conservation and environmental Science. I believe my environmental education and dedicated volunteerism in the environmental fields as well as over 20 years of customer service experience will combine well to be a vital resource for potential employers.As an environmental geography major at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, I had the opportunity to focus on environmental challenges and human interactions with the use of GIS. Research and data analysis allowed me to gain extensive knowledge of the spatial relationship of the natural physical environment and the social/cultural environment. Overlapping emphases include conservation, sustainable living, renewable energy, restoration/reclamation of green space, and mitigation for the mounting challenges of global environmental change. I have been active in environmentalism since I was a child, having been involved with my father’s agricultural pursuits and my own passion for exploring natural terrain. Being a volunteer with Surfing the Nations, River Revitalization Foundation and the Department of Natural Resources, gave me the opportunity to organize and lead teams to analyze data about social/cultural interactions with natural forms and processes of the physical environment and what methodology and discourse to implement. In addition to knowing scientific practicality from academia, I can also draw on my own personal experience and knowledge to ensure justice for both the physical and social environments.
