The Community Services Division (CSD) provides several state & local governments with professional community development services related to construction management & inspection, eligibility & intake, and environmental reviews. The CSD also provides grant management services in the areas of disaster recovery, infrastructure, economic development, neighborhood revitalization, housing rehabilitation and funding strategies. The CSD has assisted over 60 governments with various programs related to Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), Disaster Recovery, HOME, State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP), Neighborhood Stabilization Partnership (NSP) and other supplemental programs that are with various community development programs. GSG has developed core competencies in many federal and state programs such as CDBG Disaster Recovery, regular CDBG program, Neighborhood Stabilization Program, and Florida’s State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) program. Collect, verify and process Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, former Section 8, for specific counties in FL. Prepare correspondence for tenants, landlords and inspections. Report monthly statistics to HUD as required per the program.
