About Marilou Manahon

I had worked for Logistics, Healthcare, and retail accounts. I started my carrier last 2017 and was able to work with 1800 flowers. My main role is to monitor everything from the customers' orders, to assigning florists, shipping the orders, and checking the status of the orders. In this type of business, we really can't avoid delays or unfulfilled orders and as much as possible I need to get the customer updated and try to offer alternatives and compensations. After my contract with them, I was offered a job by one of the prestigious BPO companies in our city and got hired and was part of Anthem provider's services department. I catered to providers' calls and inquiries about their patients' eligibility, benefit, and coverage. I also cater to providers' inquiries about the status of their claims. We always make sure that we quote with 100% accuracy the patients' coverage for providers, based on their service on that information. I've worked with Transfix for more than 3 years, it's a logistics company based in New York. I was designated as a Customer Experience Specialist and got promoted to Team Captain after a year. My main role as a Customer Experience specialist is to make sure that our customers are well updated on their freight, transparency to our coordinators is very important to ensure that their expectations are met accordingly. I set appointments for both pickup and delivery, making sure that the appointments are encoded in our system correctly to avoid inconveniences to our customers and carriers as well. I track our loads by calling drivers or dispatchers and checking the shipment status to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery. I also retrieve Proof of Deliveries and/or Bill of Landings and other necessary documents needed. I act as a mediator between the customer and the carrier by relaying updates or information to both parties that can affect the freight cycle. As a team Captain, I oversee my colleagues' work if they're able to hit the customer's satisfaction and offer guidance to improve their performance and hit our goal. Being in this industry for 6 years has helped my skills well-enhanced; this has given me confidence in providing concise, quality customer service. My experiences in a highly pressured environment have taught me attention to detail, resilience, and flexibility in using different tools provided by the client. I am hard-working, a good listener, a fast learner, and adaptable to meet my employer's time zone. I value clients' trust and commit myself to any job, taking full responsibility for completing projects on time.
