Supported the Qualified Utility Validation group through the creation of Requests for Assays, Quarterly Clean Steam Reports, data gathering, and audits. Collaborated in the creation of a Water Sampling Program. Surveying approximately 400 use points site wide to improve production’s usage of regulated clean steam, purified water and water for injection resulting in corrections improved quality, audit preparation, cost savings, procedures and policies. Administered Pest Control Program resulting in virtually no observations during numerous customer audits. Raised efficiencies by including Quality in initial employee pest sightings, updating procedure, and working with contracted service provider improving monthly pest reports used during audits.

Organized and supervised routine and emergency maintenance activities for approximately 16 employees in the Kalamazoo Drug Product Stores, Proactive Maintenance Team, and Janitors. Additional duties covered inventory maintenance, implementing proactive technologies, and personnel management. Initially supervisor for the Sterile Maintenance Team consisting of various craft personal that maintain equipment for production.Improved morale with a compassion for the human side of the team by supporting immediate response to repairs for area producing medicine in a sterile manufacturing facility.Learned storeroom practices, techniques and processes achieving 94% accuracy for inventories that supported entire Kalamazoo production site.

Perform calibration and repair of process equipment in various areas of the company. Equipment experience includes Freeze Dryers, Tunnels, Autoclaves, Ovens, Vial Washers, Manufacturing Tanks, and Steam Booths. Achieved Journeyman status January 1996.Equipment maintenance included calibration of temperature, pressure, vacuum and electronics for Freeze Dryers which were very large in size. These were crucial to the manufacturing of sterile injectables which were a high profit and critical drug for the company.

Installed, verified and repaired a variety of personal computers including installing and maintaining network, and understanding basics of software for computers.Service within an hour was expectation required as the in-house Computer Group, met expectations.
